A Good Old Fashioned Quest

There is a monster that needs dealing with.

60% of people in the U.K are overweight.  25% are obese.  Chronic disease and reported food allergies are at an all time high.  Almost 31 million days of work were lost last year due to back, neck and muscle problems.  Statistics don't measure misery but you can imagine.

I don't think anyone does not recognize this as a problem.  What I think is not recognized is that the numbers above are not the monster.  They are the monsters teeth and claws.  They are what causes the damage but removing them wont kill it.

This monster has two heads.  The first is ignorance of how choices and actions can affect health and the second is complacency and unwillingness to change.  The fitness, health and food industry s fuel this with misinformation and synthetic low cost high profit food.

The health industry relies on more people using prescription drugs year on year to keep shareholders happy.  Gyms business models require lots of people to sign up and burn themselves out with shortsighted programs and to never return while maintaining their membership.  The food industry just wants profit.

It is understandable why people want to buy in to the 'Modern Diet'.  In 1914 people spent 50% of their income on food, in 2014 it was 10%.  But this saving has clearly come at a price and that price is rising rapidly.

Please help to begin to reverse this situation by forwarding this message and this subscription form to everyone you can.  I will provide articles on what to eat, what to do and what to avoid in order to avoid being one of the statistics.

Information on diet and training for weight loss, on stretching and exercising to avoid or improve muscle and joint pain and the truths of what is actually healthy and productive in workouts and food.  You don't need to do as much as you might think to see the benefit.

Again please forward this article and please share it to all.  I know no one likes to be the fanatic who tries to get people to change.  Human nature.  But remember that the complacency people feel and the ignorance of how serious the problem is feed each other and keep the monster strong.

Hit forward, hit the buttons underneath and help fight.
