Thankyou to Pure Edinburgh West folks!
Hello everyone. If you came along to Pure Gym Edinburgh West last night and said hello at the members evening I want to say thanks.
Everyone who is actually committed to getting in and doing something is miles ahead of anyone sitting on there backside who isn't even trying. Despite this not everyone wants to ask for help and this is especially true of the people who would benefit from it the most.
"Members evenings" and other gym events might seem a little silly and don't really seem to help any particular individual with their goals but everytime someone sees us trainers chatting with members and other members getting involved in the challenges and health checks it makes it a little easier for them to come and start a conversation.
A good number of people made it clear they were getting a little stressed with getting themselves 'in shape' for a holiday in the summer. They were doing the routine that is always suggested (long steady painful cardio and restricted calories with very low fat) and finding it wasn't really working or when it was showing results realising it was impossible to maintain for long enough.
There is a better way. It's not that complicated. Not easy maybe. But not complicated. If you want a chat about a goal or we already spoke and you want to have an introductory session hit this link.
